The Ogun State Police Command has arrested three suspected teenage cultists.
Spokesperson for the command, Mr. Muyiwa Adejobi, said the suspects – Sodiq Akeem (16), Adeniyi Clement (14) and Rilwan Aina (14) – were arrested in Apeti, Agbara area of the state, during a meeting in which they were allegedly making plans for an operation.
Akeem was said to be a senior secondary one pupil of Agbara High School, while Clement and Aina are vulcaniser and apprentice respectively.
“They were arrested with a locally-made pistol and cartridges in a raid conducted by a team led by Chief Superintendent of Police Ayo Sonubi,” Adejobi said.
