‘I don’t really care what Chelsea are doing’ – Loanee Lukaku enjoying life at West Brom

Goal :    Romelu Lukaku has insisted that he is unconcerned at how parent club Chelsea are faring and has hinted at extending his loan spell with West Brom beyond the end of the current campaign.

The young Belgian has impressed at the Hawthorns, with his two goals against Reading taking his tally to nine for the season from 20 appearances – already 12 more than he managed in the entire 2011-12 season at Chelsea.

Indeed, speaking to reporters after his side’s late collapse at the Madejski Stadium, Lukaku confirmed he was looking to stay in the Black Country beyond the end of the current campaign.
