Great Olympics Chief Executive Walter Yankah has backed the team to make a long-awaited return to the Ghana Premier League.

Olympics have made several unsuccessful attempts to return to the Premier League over the past three years.

The capital based-side, with a great tradition have been unable to break the ice in the National Division One League due to persistent managerial crisis.

But the club’s newly appointed Chief Executive has promised to qualify the club to the top of Ghana football once again.

“We’ve had some few managerial issues but I believe the troubles are behind us and we are ready to come back,” Yankah said

“I came back to the side and realized confidence level has gone down. There is seems to be low motivation among the players to play for the club.

“But we’re trying to change that. I promise the fans of Olympics that will be back in the Premier League next season.”

Olympics will be heavily involved in the second-tier league this season.
