Herty Borngreat releases new video ‘Christo Zonto’

Herty BorngreatCelebrated gospel musician Herty Borngreat is set to launch a new video album that will take the music scene by storm, according to sources close to the artiste and some industry watchers.

Titled Christo Zonto (Ayeyi asa), the video is one of the tracks from her latest album Take Them to Church, and will be launched on GhOne’s E-Talk with Amanda on Thursday January 10, 2013.

Adomonline.com has been given a sneak preview of the video directed by Isaac Ofei Awuah on the label Borngreat Records, with an all-smiling Herty Borngreat ‘killing’ the dance floor with conservative (gospel) and Azonto moves to the thumping beat of the hiplife-themed song.

Mrs Borngreat, who has two albums to her credit –‘Take them to Church’ and ‘Odo Ben ni’ also featured sensational hiplife artiste Sarkodie on her hit single Bebree which continues to enjoy airplay on both radio and TV.

The very youthful-looking mother of five has won a number of awards both locally and internationally including Discovery Artiste of the Year at the 2011 Ghana Music Awards, and performed at the 2012 Ghana Gospel Industry Awards (GGIA) organized by Adom 106.3 FM

The artiste told Adomonline.com the video will break new frontiers in the gospel music video scene, and promised to continue singing about God’s love and blessing for mankind.

The song is a praise song and according Herty this to give Christians and gospel music lovers the chance to also do the fast growing Azonto dance which proudly originated from Ghana and also praise God at the same time.

Herty Borngreat was not left out in the Christmas celebrations. She performed on the “Victory Carnival” on the Osu Oxford Streets on 26th December 2012 and also performed on Becca’s “Girl Talk” concert on December 21st at the National Theatre.
