Manchester turned into quite a musical city on Sunday night.
Not only was the X Factor final being held at Manchester Central but the Bridgewater Hall played host to Katherine Jenkins.
The Welsh singer, 32, stepped out onto the stage for a festive performance in a tight pearl gown that boasted a revealing v-neckline.

Katherine teamed the floor-length dress with bright coral lips and had her hair in loose curls around her face.
The gown boasted ruched detailing across the bodice and a diamante detail on her hip.
The dress emphasised her curves and Katherine has recently spoken out about her weight and how she didn’t like being so slim earlier in the year after appearing on Dancing With The Stars.

She told MailOnline: ‘When I did Dancing with the stars I did lose an awful lot of weight and I think at the time everybody was sort of alarmed by it.’
‘You can eat anything and it is still dropping off you when you are doing that amount of exercise.’
‘I’m not happy being that thin, I personally think it is nice when women are like real women and are curvy and feel feminine.’

Katherine went on to say that she was much more comfortable with her shape after putting on a few pounds in recent months.
She said: ‘I feel I’m a little bit back more in my direction of my real weight.’
‘I’m happy with where I am right now.’
