If being first on the red carpet was a daunting prospect for Amanda Seyfried she certainly didn’t show it in London on Tuesday evening.
Amanda drew gasps in her futuristic flamenco Valencia ensemble as she met fans in Leicester Square just before the much awaited UK Les Misérables premiere.
Her tight dress set the standard for glamour and she was followed by movie mother Anne Hathaway, who plays Fantine, who followed in a unique glamorous pearl Givenchy gown that boasted sequin detail and off the shoulder sleeves.

But 27-year-old Amanda, who plays
Cosette in the Oscar tipped movie, definitely smouldered in her gown
with the light ruffles complimenting her slim frame.
Her scoop neck dress perfectly showed off her cleavage and her blonde hair was set in loose waves and swept across one shoulder.
Wit understated make-up the Mama Mia star looked sophisticated, if not a little chilly on the red carpet.

It was a glamour packed evening with Isla Fisher, Helena Bonham Carter and Ellie Goulding making the effort to shine.
Amanda has praised her co-star Anne for helping her get into the role.
Talking to the New York Times she said: ‘My first day of shooting was with Annie. So I was able to extract some of her essence, so I could infuse it into Cosette.

Amanda was seen posing up with her hunky co-star Eddie Redmayne, who looked dapper in a navy velvet suit.
Isabelle Allen, who plays a young Cosette in the film, looked cute in a peach embellished party dress.
