MOGO 2012 thrills Ghana

The Music of Ghanaian Origin (MOGO), arguably Ghana’s most authentic highlife musical celebration event, lived up to its name in its 7th year.

Highlife music embodies the hearts of Ghanaian music and its people, and MOGO 2012 emphasized that. Encased in humour, and poetry, highlife was presented in the best possible way with timeless hits like ‘Ama Bonsu’, ‘Driver Banzaa’and ‘Knock on wood’.

Thrilling its numerous patrons once again with a parade of some of the nation’s celebrated highlife musicians, the event was definitely a success!

The event, organized by 97.3 Citi FM, gave minute by minute update of the various performances on Citi FM’s website, www.citifmonline.com, on Facebook and Twitter as well.

The event took place on Saturday, December 1st, 2012 at the Accra International Conference Centre saw persons like the evergreen Ramblers International Band, the energetic KK Kabobo, the crowd puller Adane Best, AB Crentsil, Rex Omar, Ewurama Badu, Nana Tuffour, Dzadzeloi, George Jahraa, the sensational Tagoe Sisters and Kwame Yeboah and the Ohia b3y3 ya Band.
