There aren’t many people who could get away with such a daring dress but Katy Perry pulled it off without a hitch.

Flesh-coloured and almost skin tight it clung to her curves in all the right places and the sheer neckline and long sleeves added just the right amount of sexiness.

The Fireworks star stole the show as she was honoured with the Trevor Hero Award for her work ’empowering LGBTQ youth’ at the Hollywood Palladium on Sunday night.

The sequinned detail also added glamour and Kate accessorised with some gold rings and a gold pendant.

The 28-year-old’s jet black hair was down with a single crossover braid and her dark, slightly heavy eyebrows accentuated her heart-shaped face.

Lashing of black mascara also brought out her bright green eyes.

‘A couple years ago when, unfortunately, a lot of young suicides made the news … and there was a very visible presence of suicide, Katy stepped up and was out there in the community, speaking against it.
