The police have intercepted 72 pieces of compressed dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp.
The Dansoman District Crime Officer, Mr. Christopher Owusu, said on November 21, about 11am, the police had a tip off that three men were loading the substances into an urvan bus with registration number GE 18417 near the Dansoman Keep-Fit-Club.
He said some policemen were dispatched to the scene but the suspects upon seeing the police left the substance and fled.
The police suspect that the substance was being packaged for export.
