Royal Bank to begin full operations next month

One of the new entrants into the banking industry, Royal Bank is now set to begin operations from next month.

Management of the bank has put in place all the necessary structures to open its doors to the banking public from December 10.

The Managing Director of Royal Bank, Robert Bentil is promising to change the way banking is done when the bank formally begins operations on December 10.

According to him, they are poised to make a difference by introducing premium banking services at very competitive rates. The bank also plans to focus on small business financing, mortgage, construction and Agriculture.

Mr. Bentil revealed this to JOYBUSINESS after he received the banks’ operational banking license from the Bank of Ghana today. He added the bank is looking at having presence across the country in the next 3 years.

Royal Bank earlier this year received its provisional licensed from the Bank of Ghana to begin operations.

The bank is owned by a Cocoa Licensed Buying Company, Global Haulage and some Ghanaian Investors. It currently has a stated capital of hundred million Ghana cedis.
