Madam Janet Quashie, a resident of James Town in Accra popularly known as Akwanuah, has been reported missing since Monday.
On November 26, 2012, Akwanuah was said to have told a friend at the Rawlings Park, where she sells Kenkey, that she was sick and was going to seek medical attention.
She has not been seen since. Searches in a number of hospitals have proven futile.
The family is therefore appealing to members of the general public who know of her whereabouts to call 0242 186 444 or report to the nearest police station.
