On Thursday, an 18-year-old woman was attacked while walking between Ga-Thoka and Mankweng unit C with her boyfriend around 22:00.

The couple were robbed and she was raped in front of her boyfriend.

The day before that, on the Wednesday, a 20-year-old woman was raped between Mankweng and Magoebaskloof.

The woman had hitched a lift with a motorist she did not know and en-route the driver demanded sex from her.
