Meet Christabel Ekeh The Fast Rising Movie Star

For those who do not know her, it might come as a huge surprise that Christabel Ekeh is fast becoming the most sought after actress in the country.

Perhaps best known for playing afia in college girls, the young and
definitive actress who doubles as a model consistently wow audiences with her undeniable beauty photogenic intensity and wild side.

She is vibrant smart, intelligent and has the exceptional combination
of the girl next door quality that seems to infect all she comes into contact with. First runner up of Miss Malaika 2008, The new face in Ghanaian movies revealed she is looking for that distinctive role that will set her apart from all other actresses.

The said role should be able to bring out her unique qualities. It should be athletic, violent and really stretch her as an actress Some of her movies include wrong target, waist beads, 14 February, war against women etc.

Born to a Ghanaian mother and Nigerian father, christabel embraced her many talents by first signing up for the miss malaika contest which she came out as the 1st runner up. She got into acting when she
finished high school. Asked what she looks forward to in the near future, she says she plans on being the best, she wants to change, actually revolutionize the movie industry.

Christabels talents also extend beyond acting and strutting her stuff on the runway. She wants to sing someday. She like going to the gym and swimming. She also prides herself in her figure which she knows
is to die for.

Her greatest challenge now. Is meeting the demands of her job whiles going to school. The third year student of university of Ghana says most of the time she cannot accept scripts especially those from
Nigeria because they conflict with her academic schedule

she has just been nominated in the category of “Best new actress”(Nollywood reinvented awards)together with Joycelyn Dumas and Roselyn Ngisah
