Wanlov takes on 4syte Music Video Awards for snubbing ‘Uncle Obama’ music video

Controversial Ghanaian musician, Wanlov took to twitter on Sunday morning to vent his displeasure at events that unfolded at Saturday night’s 4syte TV Music Video Awards, held at the Accra International Conference Centre.

Key amongst his frustrations was the fact that rapper, EL’s ‘Kaa Lu’ video won the Most Popular Music Video while his sister, Sister Deborah’s ‘Uncle Obama’video was not even nominated.

Wanlov argued that both videos were released on the same day but the video for ‘Uncle Obama’ has received more hits on YouTube, making it more popular that ‘Kaa Lu’.

His twitter TimeLine got really busy as he received lots of support on his stance from friends and fans who questioned the system employed by 4syte TV to select winners of the Music Video Awards.

Wanlov mocked the awards an called it falsesight awards: ” FalseSight Music Video Awards according to @mensamusic RT @lydiaforson: @deborahvanessa7 @wanlov eiii, what did I miss??”

he also questioned why Becca won Best Female Video with her song, ‘No Away’ featuring M.I. ” See som bullshit video e win best female…wot d fok b d meaning of “no away”?!”
