Aliu Mahama
There are conflicting reports as to where the late vice president Aliu Mahama will be buried.
A family member told Joy News TV’s Gifty Andoh, Saturday that the late vice president will be flown to his home town to be buried in either Tamale or Yendi.
The latest development comes just a day after Communications Minister Haruna Iddrisu stated that Aliu Mahama will be buried at the Osu Military cemetery in Accra.
Aliu Mahama died Friday at the Korle-Bu Cardio Centre after a short illness.
He is expected to be buried, Saturday November 17th 2012, according to Muslim traditions, but the venue of the burial is yet to be officially known.
