Dansoman next Tigo Community Soccer stop on Saturday

The re-launched Tigo Community Soccer train moves to Dansoman this Saturday November 17 as the excitement and fun makes a stop at the Datus School Complex. The Tigo Community Soccer is a feast of football, played among 16 competing neighborhood teams in selected communities across the country. This year’s edition is set to be staged in five territories-Accra, Eastern, Western, Northern and Ashanti running for two days at each stop starting with elimination matches at the group stage leading to the crowning of a community champion using FIFA accredited scouts and Glo Ghana Premier League referees and managers.

The 2012 event began last Saturday to a great success at Bukom, one of three legs of the Accra Territory. Dansoman takes their turn this weekend before Madina complete the 3rd leg next in the itinerary of the football show inspired by the premier mobile communications company.

To enter, a community team consisting of 15 players must all have Tigo registered numbers with two Ghana Cedis (GH¢2) credit loaded.

Community teams within Dansoman and its environs desirous of entering must register at Datus, Osofo Dadzie, Mataheko, SSNIT Flats, Banana Inn, Agege, Gbeegbese, Exhibition, Sahara, Sakaman, Odorkor, Darkuman, Mallam, Zamrama Line and Sukura.

When it does kick off at the Datus School complex park on Saturday morning, the second leg of the Accra territory will be a gala format through quarter finals, semi finals and the final.
