Ablakwa, Jake And Boamah Court Case Adjourned

The case between the NPP Chairman, Jake Obetsebi Lamptey and Deputy Ministers, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa and Dr Omane Boamah on the purchase of a state bungalow, has been adjourned to Friday November 23, 2012.

The court adjourned the case for lack of a constitutional panel.

The two deputy ministers are accusing the NPP Chairman of abusing his office by claiming public property for personal gain. They pleaded with the court to stop any attempts by Jake Obetsebi Lamptey to acquire the property.

R.O Solomon, one of Jake Obetsebi Lamptey’s lawyers, told Citi News “we were just told that the case has been adjourned.”

Not just that case but quite a number of cases. It means that we will have to wait till the day when the application for review of the judgement will be heard.

“We have filed all our papers we are waiting for the court to give us the green light to argue.”
