Goal : Steven Gerrard will undergo scans on a knee injury ahead of England’s friendly against Sweden on Wednesday, the Football Association has confirmed.

Gerrard was thought be the latest to join them after picking up an injury against Chelsea at the weekend in the second half of the 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge, but his club manager Brendan Rodgers believes he will be fine for the trip.
