A far cry from Hollywood: Shia LaBeouf was seen enjoying a drink in a scruffy London pub before getting into a scuffle with another patron

He is the star of several Hollywood blockbusters and commands millions of dollars per film.

But Shia LaBeouf was seen enjoying a few drinks at a grubby London pub in South London, before getting into a tussle with a patron it has been claimed.

The 26-year-old actor paid a visit to the Hobgoblin in New Cross but his trip to the venue didn’t end well, after a student stole his baseball cap, according to reports.

Regular patrons were shocked when the Transformers star arrived at the venue with his Nymphomaniac co-star Mia Goth.

An onlooker told The Sun: ‘No one could believe that a well-known
Hollywood star had rocked up at a bar in dingy SE14. Everyone was
getting their photos taken with him.’

But after a few hours drinking Shia was left reeling after a student stole his hat, the paper claims.

A source said: ‘The scrap all started when this guy took his hat. I think he was just joking, but Shia didn’t like it.

‘The guy just took it off him and
wouldn’t give it back. He tried to get it back and they ended up
tussling. It was handbags really. But it shows that even Hollywood stars
can’t avoid grief down this way.’

A spokesperson for the actor was not available for comment.

The pair were said to have visited the pub after visiting Mia’s mother who lives close by.

Shia and Mia are currently working on new film Nymphomaniac, a pornographic.

Speaking about the role to MTV Shia said: ‘The movie is what you think it is. It is Lars von Trier, making a movie about what he’s making. For instance, there’s a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says we’re doing it for real. Everything that is illegal, we’ll shoot in blurred images. Other than that, everything is happening.’
