MUSIGA mourns with Blakk Rasta

The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) extends their sincerest condolences to Blakk Rasta following the news of the death of his wife. The sad incident occurred on Wednesday, November 7, 2012.

Blakk Rasta, real name ABUBAKAR AHMED had been married to the late SAKINA AHMED for some years now, with two sons together. His late wife and children lived in Takoradi, where her demise happened.

Blakk Rasta doubles as a Radio Presenter on an Accra-based radio station, Hitz 103.9FM, where he hosts the “Taxi Driver” show. Blakk Rasta who is also a member of MUSIGA won the Reggae Presenter of the year in 2011.

He is well known for a number of songs with the most popular being arguably his track on Barack Obama, “Zamtamboa”, and many others.

Bice Osei Kuffour, President of MUSIGA, the National Executives, all Regional Executives and all members of the Union have expressed their condolences to Blakk Rasta on the “big loss.” They “wish him strength in these trying times.”
