NEWS-ONE cameras over the weekend bumped into popular Ghanaian actress Lydia Forson, while she bought tubers of yam and dried salted fish, also known as ‘Koobi’, at the Akosombo market.
The market women appeared both shocked and elated at the sight of the movie star bargaining for a price reduction from them.
She spoke so freely with them and shared a few jokes that got them rolling with laughter.
A small crowd started to form almost immediately, after word went round that Lydia was at the market. It was obvious the traders least expected a movie star in their stalls.
