Sam Worthington has gotten in many on-screen brawls, but on Saturday, he was arrested for a getting into a real life fight – and had to be subdued with pepper spray.

The star of Terminator Salvation, Clash of the Titans and Avatar was arrested for fighting on Saturday in Atlanta. He was charged with disorderly conduct, but the charge was dismissed in court Monday morning, according to news reports.

The actor, 36, tangled with a doorman at the Vortex bar and grill when he was turned away for being verbally abusive and apparently intoxicated, according to a police report obtained by Celebuzz.com.

The doorman, Jerry Link, told police the actor, identified as “Mr. Samuel” in the report, “pushed him twice with his hands. At that time Mr. Link pepper-sprayed Mr. Samuel and handcuffed him until the police arrived,” says the officer’s report, according to Celebuzz.

While confirming the incident, a manager at Vortex told PEOPLE, “We can’t make any comment.”

The charges were dropped when Link didn’t appear in court, according to Celebuzz.

Worthington is in Atlanta filming Arnold Schwarzenegger’s new film, Ten, which also costars Terrance Howard, Josh Holloway and Joe Manganiello.
