They managed to bag invites to one of the biggest movie premieres of the year, so they were of course hoping to shake and stir the crowds on Tuesday night.

But while they certainly made an impact, Tamara Ecclestone, Katie Price and even adventurer Bear Grylls landed themselves looks for the wrong reasons at the Skyfall premiere.

They all turned out to see the return of James Bond to the big screen as the likes of 007 himself Daniel Craig showed up to the premiere at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

Not quite like Angelina! Tamara Ecclestone dressed to impress at the Skyfall premiere in London on Tuesday night but stood out in her emerald frock with side split

But Tamara in particular stood out due to her usual sense of style failing her.

The Formula 1 heiress had good intentions as she stepped on to the red carpet, ditching her usual minuscule dresses for a longer number.

Although she stood out thanks to the vibrant emerald green colour of the frock.

Always lowering the tone: Katie Price covered up more than usual in a mini-dress with a long black train but cheapened it with her over-the-knee boots and backless cut out

And while she looked glamorous, Tamara was clearly trying to give off a similar effect to that of Angelina Jolie at this year’s Oscars.

She wore the Jolie-esque side-split dress with pride but failed to give off the same impression that model like Angelina did with a similar cut earlier this year.

Although she had clearly made an effort and nonetheless enjoyed the evening, writing on Twitter afterwards: ‘Absolutely loved Skyfall great movie.’

Not so suave: Adventurer Bear Grylls went a bit too adventurous as he tried to go patriotic in Union Jack trousers

And she wasn’t the only star who failed to fit in with the rest of the suave guest list at the Royal bash.

Katie Price had also dressed up to the nines in a black mini-dress with a floorlength black train but still managed to lower the tone with its shiny material and her over-the-knee boots cheapening the look.

She even showed off her bare back with the cut-out detailing.

But it wasn’t only the girls who went for an obscure get-up as TV adventurer Bear Grylls decided to even be adventurous with his clothing choices on the night.

He hit a bum note standing out in a pair of Union Jack trousers.

Clearly wanting to be patriotic for the British franchise, he wrote on Twitter ahead of his outing: ‘Do I go for the union jack trousers or not for Bond premiere!? Hhmm.’

So luckily it was down to the Bond Girls to raise the glamour stakes on the night.

Both Naomie Harris and Berenice Marlohe showed off their credentials off screen in their striking gowns and revealed how it should be done properly.

The actresses were just two of the star guests who showed up to the Royal Premiere of Skyfall in London on Tuesday night alongside the man himself, Daniel Craig.

Bond belles of the ball: Bond Girls Naomie Harris and Berenice Marlohe ensured they stood out at the Skyfall premiere in London on Tuesday night in striking gowns

And it’s no wonder so many A-list guests
showed up to the premiere as critics are already hailing it one of the
best Bond movies yet.

Naomie stood out as she showed off her perfect physique in a sheer black Marios Schwab gown with a daring blue sequinned body underneath.

She almost floated on to the red carpet in the see through frock as she completed her look with glowing straight hair and dark nail polish.

But not to be outdone, Berenice also ensured she was another belle of the ball in a striking strapless red dress which emphasised her cleavage.

Ignoring the red carpet rule to avoid
gowns of the same colour, Berenice looked ravishing in the scarlet frock
as she wore her hair in a wavy bob for the night.

And they were in good company as Daniel Craig was also one of the first big names to grace the star-studded carpet.

Looking as dapper as ever, Craig lived up to his James Bond name in a perfectly suave dinner suit with white shirt and bow tie.

Stepping in front of the fans and photographers in his shiny shoes, Daniel looked clearly pleased to be there as he grinned widely at onlookers.

Javier Bardem also showed off his dapper outfit as he showed up to celebrate the release of the Bond movie, in which he plays baddie Raoul Silva, who is touted as one of the scariest Bond villains  ever.

And he opted to be the first man to wear Gucci’s Green Carpet Challenge.

Leading lady: Dame Judi Dench went for a white frock as she showed up to her umpteenth Bond premiere

But it wasn’t only the stars of the movie itself who showed up to watch the movie and delight in the glitzy bash.

The likes of Kelly Brook also showed up, who also went for some shimmer in a low cut figure accentuating silver sequinned gown.

Newly married Holly Valance was also on the guest list, standing out in a red frock.

Funnyman David Walliams and Kate Silverton presided over the event at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall.

Meanwhile, Daniel recently spoke out about his role, admitting his ‘vanity kicked in’ when he realised he had to strip for ‘Skyfall’.

The muscle-bound actor reprises his role as super spy James Bond for the film and he worked out up to seven hours a day for the movie, because he wanted to look good on screen.

He told TV show ‘Lorraine’: ‘There’s stuff in the script that says I have to take my shirt off so vanity kicks in and I work out.

‘But also I’m running most of the time during this film – he doesn’t really just walk into a room and sit down, he tends to jump through the window and sit down, so I had to stay in shape.’

The 44-year-old actor’s co-star Naomie Harris previously revealed she enjoyed filming the scenes with him when he had to take off his clothes.

The Bond girl said: ‘I do get to have a lovely moment with him, where I try to seduce him. He’s a very hot guy, definitely. He worked out for two hours every day after filming.

‘He’s a Bond in real life – very physical, capable and energetic.’

Daniel also said he is now extremely comfortable in his role as 007 now he is on his third film as the iconic character.

He explained: ‘I think it’s about time, really, isn’t it that I should start feeling comfortable? I enjoyed this a great deal and like I said about the script, when you’ve got something as strong as that, and when you know the story is that good, you feel good about it. I always wanted to start bringing in the older elements of the films.’
