There’s midweek action in the Glo Premier League with Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak looking to keep fighting to catch up at the top on match-day-4.
Defending champions Kotoko have yet to win a game in this season after three successive draws as they take on Aduana Stars at the Agyemang Badu Park.
Sitting four points off the top, the pressure is on coach Mas-ud Didi Dramani to turn around their fortunes. Aduana are two points better than the Porcupine Warriors and will attempt to take that tally to eight by rubbing into Kotoko’s wounds.
Hearts of Oak made an impression on the second day of competition, recording a thumping win in a seven-goal thriller but their form plummeted over the weekend in a 3-1 loss to Ebusua Dwarfs.
Coming up against Wa All Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium, the Phobians could face the same old problems of falling to the Blues, who are in the relegation bracket with two points.
One of the biggest line-ups in Wednesday’s round of matches is the fixture at the Tarkwa T&A Park where the top-of-the-table clash will see Medeama come up against leaders Berekum Chelsea.
Dwarfs will look to improve on their weekend’s performance with another game at the Tema Stadium, this time against Tema Youth.
At the Baba Yara Stadium, King Faisal will battle New Edubiase with Berekum Arsenals, second from bottom taking on Real Tamale United at the Golden City Park.
AshantiGold, winless in their opening three games will attempt to end their drawing spree when Amidaus Professionals make their way to the Len Clay Stadium.
Bottom side, Liberty Professionals travel to the Kpando Park to clash with Heart of Lions to round up the midweek fixtures.
