Angola/Zimbabwe: Minister Recommends Speed and Efficiency to Football Squad

Luanda — The minister of Youth and Sports, Gonçalves Muandumba, stressed in Luanda that the national football team have potential to defeat Zimbabwe on Sunday, but they will have to be objective when taking the ball from defence to attack, as well as show more efficiency at the opponents’ goal.

Looking ahead of the game that will be played in the 11 de Novembro Stadium, for the second leg of the last eliminatory stage of qualification for the African Nations Cup (CAN2013), in South Africa, the minister said to ANGOP that he acknowledges that the match will be difficult, given the disadvantage of 1-3 from the first leg.

The government official said that the game will be difficult taking into account the defeat suffered in Harare, besides the need of not underestimating the opponents, because they also work to achieve the same goal.
