Andre Ayew says he has overcome his injury problems and ready to face Malawi in Saturday’s crucial 2013 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Malawi.

The 22-year-old struggled in the first leg encounter against The Flames in Accra last month after recovering from a troublesome shoulder injury.

But he is beginning to fine his form with French giants Marseille and says he has shook off the shoulder problems to help the Black Stars put the Malawians to sleep.

“ I can just say that my shoulder is very, very well now. It’s much, much better.,” Ayew said

“I think when you are in such moments and can’t play for four months because of injury you start to think a lot – ‘one day will I be back?’

“It took me time to understand that because I’ve never had that injury before. It’s an experience for me and hopefully it won’t happen again.

“But if it happens next time I will know how to handle it in a better way.”

Ayew is expected to play a key figure for the Ghanaians to beat their opponent in Lilongwe.
