He has enjoyed a long and successful TV career and is known for his role’s on wholesome family shows.
But Bruce Forsyth’s job in showbusiness came under threat in a sex scandal during his early years on TV.
It has been revealed how the 84-year-old veteran enjoyed a string of flings with a number of beautiful women during the early years of his career.

In fact, Bruce was quite the lothario and has even admitted that when his career took off so did his sexual appetite.
The People have quoted the presenter as saying: ‘Only when I hit the big time, got the job at the Palladium, became the
name, did I gain confidence, not only in myself as a performer but as a
sexual being.’
Forsyth, who acted as compere on Sunday Night at the London Palladium during the 1950’s and 1960’s, said: ‘After I was on that show for six weeks and seeing my name outside the Palladium my libido grew and I became sexually of age.’

In 1964 Bruce’s came dangerously close to ruining his career with scandal after he fell for 19-year-old beauty contestant Ann Sidney, the paper claims.
The presenter who was then married to first wife Penny is said to have told the teenage stunner he was separated, and threw caution to the wind embarking on an affair.
Jules Stenson, who has penned Bruce’s biography wrote: ‘His career could be killed stone dead by a big scandal around an affair.’
The book reveals how on the night that Ann was Miss World in 1964 she left the party to meet Forsyth.
‘Bruce was sipping champagne to toast her triumph and there was a knock at the door of his flat,’ the book alleges.
Ann was not the only one and Bruce left Penny on several occasions prior to their final divorce in 1973.
The mother of three of his children, Penny, now 82, said: ‘In six years he left me
and came back seven times. He could not resist a pretty face.
‘He just couldn’t stop falling in love. He has a tremendous amount of
sex appeal. I’m not surprised young women were falling for him.’
A spokesperson for Bruce was unavailable for comment earlier today.
