Ghanaian midfielder David Accam scored to earn a point for Helsingborg IF in their 2-2 stalemate with leaders BK Hacken on Thursday evening.

The 21-year-old scored 12 minutes before the break to cancel out Dioh Williams’ 3rd minute opener for Hacken at the Rambergsvallen.

Accam, who joined the champions from third-tier side Östersunds FK, planted a Nikola ?ur?i? pass beyond Christoffer Kallqvist, the Hacken goalkeeper, for the leveller.

Hacken returned from the break revitalised and dominated the midfield.

Accam came close to registering a brace two minutes into the second department but his powerful flicking header was palmed out by the Hacken shit-stopper.

Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris chipped a cross from inside of the box for Dioh Williams to connect home and put back Peter Gerhardsson’s side back into the lead in the 74th minute.

Hacken appeared to be cruising for another win but Nikola ?ur?i? scored two minutes from time to stun the home support and snatch a share of the spoils for Helsingborg.

Ghana U20 attacker Nasiru Mohammed was introduced by Hacken in the 62nd minute while defender Joseph Baffo captained Helsingborg.
