A.Ogunlade and Pastor  J.A Akinosun respectively.

Though, no one was injured n the attack, according to the the spokesperson of the team, Pastor Tokunbo Pearce, the clerics were attacked yesterday morning on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

This came as the feuding parties are at the verge of bringing the crisis which had depopulated the once-vibrant church to an end.

While stressing the need for peaceful; resolution of the perennial crisis, Pastor Pearce said, Pastor Ogunlade as the leader of his faction had the power to decide whether the crisis should come to end or not.

He said several meetings had been held between the factions and they both had indicated that they wanted the crisis to end.

He added that a new constitution that would combine both factions would be written and new leaders would emerge from the two factions.
