Granada goalkeeper Jorge Sanchez believes his side could beat Barcelona when they meet in a La Liga clash at the Camp Nou on Saturday.
The Catalans have won all four of their league matches, the latest being an impressive 4-1 at Getafe, and will go into this clash in high spirits after winning their first UEFA Champions League group match, beating Spartak Moscow 3-2.
Granada on the other hand are in 18th place with two points, ten points behind Barca who are currently sitting on top of the log.
The Filipinos have lost two of their first four games, but are still in search of their first win after scoring a late equaliser to secure a 1-1 draw against Deportivo La Coruna.
However, Sanchez believes they can cause an upset against on Saturday night as all the pressure will be on the hosts.
“It is possible to win, although it’s clear that this is complicated,” said Sanchez. “Nobody can take the excitement away from us. We have nothing to lose.”
The 19-year-old goalkeeper is still waiting to make his debut for Juan Antonio Anquela’s side, but he says just being part of the squad to make the trip to the famous stadium will be a special occasion.
“I’ve thought about this 800 times,” he said. “I have been to watch football at several Primera grounds, but never in Barcelona, and to even sit on the bench will be a dream come true.”
Barcelona will be without defender Gerard Pique, who suffered an ankle injury on Wednesday night, as well Carles Puyol and Andres Iniesta, who were already on the injury list.

Last season Barcelona won this game 5-3 with Lionel Messi scoring a hat-trick, while Guilherme Siqueira scores twice from the penalty spot for Granada.
