Adomah scores early but Bristol City fall to Blackburn

Albert Adomah celebrating his opener for Bristol City

Ghana winger Albert Adomah scored what could become the fastest goal in this season’s Npower Championship in Bristol City’s 5-3 defeat to Blackburn.

The 24-year-old set the tone for the Robins in a pulsating contest with the opener after just 43 seconds.
He made City to race into a dream start when he struck in the opening minute, finding the bottom corner via a deflection following Taylor’s lay-off.
Adomah then assisted Stephen Pearson for the equaliser in the 69th minute after Nuno Gomes had added to a Jordan Rhodes’ leveller in the first half.

But three goals from Rochina, Dunn and Rhodes gave Blackburn an important win.
