The exciting search for Miss Universe Ghana 2012 is set to take off on Saturday, August 18. The auditions will be conducted at 10A Volta Street in the Airport Residential Area of Accra, beginning at 10 am, and producers are looking to select 15 amazing young women who will compete in the final showdown to select this year’s titleholder.
Interested young women must be between the ages of 18 and 25; a Ghanaian with a valid national identification card which they must come along with, and also stand 5.7ft’ or taller. The competition is the National Preliminary of the Miss Universe® Pageant. The Ghana preliminary is a recruitment process to select a young woman who is the quintessence of the 21st century Ghanaian woman – ambitious, charismatic, savvy, elegant, intelligent, beautiful, and assertive, to represent Ghana on the world stage. The lady who survives the process becomes an instant celebrity and will need to have the strength of character to be an ambassador for Ghana and assume the role of a leader, spokesperson and humanitarian activist.
