Ghana winger Andre Ayew was on the bench as his team mates fine tune preparations for Friday’s FIFA World Cup qualifier against Lesotho.
The Olympique Marseille ace will sit out June’s qualifiers due to a shoulder operation he underwent last month.
He sat with the technical team and observed the drills but joined his colleagues for the closing prayer.
Ayew is based at the Golden Tulip Hotel-where the team has been camping since Sunday.
His younger brother Jordan is in the team and set for a starting berth in attack.
