Gould speaks on Chiefs move

Morgan Gould of Supersport United with the 2012 Nedbank Cup Trophy

Morgan Gould has broken the silence and says he is looking forward to wearing the gold and black of Kaizer Chiefs next season.

Gould confirms his move to AmaKhosi on a four year deal.

The recently crowned Nedbank Cup champion with SuperSport United says: “It has been a boyhood dream to play for Chiefs. They are close to my home.

“But now I will put aside my dream and focus on business, which is to help my new club to success.”

Asked whether Chiefs’ struggles in central defence had a lot to do with his choice, Gould said: “Yes, I believe to build a successful team you need to strengthen the pyramid, the goalkeeping and central defence.

“I also know that with the marketing backing at Chiefs my career will continue to progress and this was an attractive part of the deal.”
