Earlier in the evening she had looked stunning, the epitome of sophisticated glamour in a floor-sweeping black gown and diamond drop earrings.
But just hours later, Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davies was snapped in possibly the worst public display of affection the MailOnline has even seen as she left the Soap Awards after party.
As she smooched male model Jay Camilleri, the Liverpudlian’s micro-mini dress rode up around her waist exposing her bottom not only to the elements but also the gathered throng of photographers.
To make matters worse, the driving rain caused her fake tan to dribble down her legs leaving her with dark orange ankles.

Get these two a taxi quick! Miss Davies was seemingly oblivious to the crowds of photographers gathered outside after party venue Cafe de Paris and the fact that her dress was edging towards her neck
Jay, who starred in E4 show Dirty Sexy Things, did not look best pleased as he screwed up his face in an awkward grimace that worsened when Stephanie launched herself – and her legs – around him.
Before her great descent onto a London pavement, the 18-year-old actress, who tried out for the role of Dorothy in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Over the Rainbow, had tweeted that she was looking forward to an ‘amazing night’.
However, she has not yet tweeted to say whether the evening was a success. And if these pictures are anything to go by it may be better left unsaid.
Jay on the other hand has already taken to the micro-blogging site to discuss events with his 26,202 followers.
He wrote: ‘awkward mess last night LOL’ before replying to a friend: ‘@MrTomWilliams don’t!! Just don’t I didn’t get in till nearly 8 haha’.

Stressful evening: Although it’s not clear who Mr Camilleri is referring to in this tweet, he did help Stephanie back onto her feet when she fell over
Earlier today he wrote in response to a friend: ‘…sorry for runnin off I promised I’d put the drunk one in a cab LOL x’
Although it is not clear who Mr Camilleri is referring to, he and Stephanie were exchanging tweets during the night.
At 1.05am the model wrote: ‘@stephanieannd where r u x’
…But earlier on: The male model had tweeted Stephanie directly earlier on in the evening
Hooking up: And she replied…
…and then: Around 40 minutes later Jay tweeted Stephanie again – what happened to texting?
Stunning: Stephanie tweeted a picture of herself before the awards
On reflection: And at 3am Jay tweeted Stephanie again…
Minutes later Stephanie replied saying: ‘@JayCamilleri on way looking a show. U there? Z’
Then
at 1.47am he tweeted: ‘@stephanieannd where u gone LOL just ended up
ordering drinks LOL x’ before responding at 3am to a picture Stephanie
had posted of herself earlier in the evening.
‘@stepanieannd soo sexy baby girl,’ he wrote.
Is this the start of a beautiful relationship?
Oh dear: Not content with showing off her assets, Stephanie also toppled off her towering platforms and into the gutter – at least her beau was gentlemanly enough to help her up with the help of two bouncers
