An Australian company, Gazal, has launched Bisley protective wears into the Nigerian market. Speaking during the unveiling of the products, the company’s Executive Director, Mr. David Gazal, said: “We always put the safety of our workers into consideration and that is why we have created these treated work wears that would keep individuals safe in their places of work and even in their homes.”

Gazal also hinted that they are working towards clothing that would protect against snake bites.

Group Chairman of Tricontinental Technologies, Chief Bintan Famutimi, said that the wears are not medical prescriptions but health and safety measures to prevent unseen hazards, on land and in sea, especially in the construction and industrial environment where there are prevalent health hazards.

CEO Tricontinental Technologies, Prof. Toyin Ashiru said: “Most of the safety wears we have in the country are heavy and cumbersome so much so that one cannot move easily but Bisley Workwears are comfortable and lighter in nature.”

As the exclusive distributor of Bisley protective wears in Nigeria, Ashiru said that Gazal has just one competitor on treated wears in the whole world. He also hinted that they look forward to customizing these wears to their clients in order to create a unique style for every organization.

Meanwhile, the products introduced into the market include Bisley Treated and Inherent Flame Resistant, Heat Management, Anti Bacterial, Anti StaticWear, Insect Management garments, treated wrist bands amongst others.
