Reliable information reaching citi News indicates that the Bimbila and Wulensi NDC constituency executives in the Nanumba Traditional area have resigned embloc.
Their action is aimed at demonstrating their support to some disgruntled NDC youth who went on rampage on Thursday and set the Bimbila constituency office ablaze.
The youth action was in protest against the Northern regional house of chief’s verdict on the protracted Nanumba Chieftaincy dispute.
A freelance journalist in the Northern region, Mashoud Kombat confirmed the resignation to Citi News. He said the resigned party executives have since handed over the party activities in Bimbila and Wulensi to the Nanumba North District Chief Executive, Mohammed Ibn Abass.
