She may have already ended their relationship, but hearing rumours that longtime love Arg cheated on her was no less heartbreaking for Lydia Bright.

On the latest episode of The Only Way Is Essex, the bubbly blonde is left devastated after hearing what she believes to be confirmation that her ex-boyfriend cheated on her throughout their four-year romance.

The 21-year-old sobs to her mother Debbie: ‘I literally feel sick. For four years how can someone be so deceitful? I’ll
never trust anybody again.’

While her mother tries to reassure her that she will love again, Lydia insists: ‘I never want to meet another man. I’ll be
alone for the rest of my life.’

Earlier in the episode, Lydia was filmed taking a phone call, saying that she ‘doesn’t know what
to believe’, that she’s ‘heard rumours in the past but has blocked them
out.’

But it appears that whoever she spoke to had evidence of Arg’s alleged cheating, as Lydia later says, ‘I’ve heard he’s done everything – first, second, third base with other girls.’

The infuriated reality star adds: ‘I want to kill him. I can’t see him or talk to him because I will actually kill him.’

The ex-couple do not come face to face during the episode, but Arg later complains to Joey Essex and Diags that Lydia had been sending him texts accusing him of cheating, which he denies.

Asked by the boys outright if he’d ever cheated, Arg says he hasn’t. During an earlier conversation with Joey and Diags, Arg reveals that he lost his virginity to Lydia, and claims that she is the only girl he’s ever slept with.

While Lydia and Arg’s relationship appears to be well and truly over following the latest revelations, Lucy and Mario are still unsure what to do about their own faltering romance.

During a clairvoyant party with the girls at Lauren Goodger’s house Lucy is unsatisfied with the fortune teller’s answers on whether she should take Mario back after his flirtatious texts to other girls.

But Chloe and Gemma advise Lucy that she is clearly still in love with Mario, and that she shouldn’t worry what others think – if she wants to be with him then she should do so.

The clairvoyant tells Chloe that she senses an engagement for her in September, but is unable to provide Gemma with specific dates for when she will settle down.

At the party, former enemies Lauren and Lucy speak privately, clearing the air and promising to put their past troubles behind them.

‘This is nice isn’t it? I never thought I’d be sitting in your front room having drinks,’ Lucy says.

‘I hate confrontation,’ says Lauren, ‘obviously there’s a reason for it but we’re through that now.

Lucy adds: ‘I’m sorry for what I did to you with Mark.’

Meanwhile Joey is not having much luck in his attempts to woo new girl Georgina.

He sets up a double date with Georgina, inviting Diags and Lauren Pope along too – but the girls are unaware that it is a date.

While Georgina and Lauren primp for their night out with the boys,
they realise that all of them are single, and what the boys have in mind. ‘Well everybody will still be
single tomorrow,’ Georgina quips.

They are far from impressed when Joey and Diags take them to the local arcade.

Asked by Joey is she is enjoying herself, Georgina responds: ‘It’s a little below average. I feel too old to be here to be honest.

‘Next time I think I’ll take you to a park or something,’ Joey suggests.

‘Why do you think there will be a next time?’ Georgina retorts.

The girls call themselves a cab and leave the boys to play the arcade games alone.
