Egypt: Planning Ministry – EGP600 Million Increase in Electricity Investments in Three Months

The Ministry of Planning said that investments in the electricity and energy sector increased by EGP600 million during the first quarter of the current fiscal year reaching around EGP3.1 billion compared to around EGP2.5 billion during the same period in the previous fiscal year.

A report released in Cairo on Saturday 4/2/2012 by the Ministry said that the government companies had the lion’s share in investments by around EGP2.9 billion in this sector.
