The Thaba Nchu Magistrate’s Court has postponed the case against two men accused of murdering a 17-year-old at a tavern.

The case against two men accused of murdering a 17-year-old at a tavern was postponed by the Thaba Nchu Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, Free State police said.

“They appeared today (Thursday), but it was postponed to Tuesday, January 17, for further investigations,” said Constable Consolation Mokoale.

Ndoisele van Wyk, 19, Moiloa Seetshiro, 22, and a 17-year-old minor are accused of killing the teenager on New Year’s Day after a drinking binge.

The minor did not appear on Thursday as he has refused legal aid.

Mokoale said all three would appear on Tuesday. They would remain in custody until then, she said.

The minor also faces another charge – of raping a 16-year-old girl on the night of the murder. – Sapa
