The 4×4 with the broken side glass
Armed robbers in the early hours of yesterday (1.32am) succeeded in breaking into the wife of Black Stars captain Henrietta Mensah’s black Escalade four wheel drive, at their Trasacco (Phase 2) residence in Accra.
The robbers, despite the sensitive vehicle alarm, managed to break the back right side window making away with some personal effects from the sleek 4×4 vehicle.
Yesterdays’ incident was the second in two weeks after a neighbor, a sister of Arch-Bishop Nicholas Duncan Williams of Action Chapel fame, suffered a similar fate.
It was also the second time in two years that the strong defender’s house has come under attack by armed robbers. In the first incident, the robbers fired gunshots which damaged some glass windows of the house.
The incident has raised security concerns among residents, who are complaining about their safety despite paying a mouthwatering fee of GH¢5,000 for security.
The misfortune notwithstanding, Mensah has expressed thanks to God from his France base for keeping the wife and kids safe.
The matter has since been reported to the Police who are carrying out an investigation.
