Msunduzi administrator Sibusiso Sithole has been appointed as the new eThekwini City manager, mayor James Nxumalo said on Friday.
Sithole would take over from Michael Sutcliffe, whose contract ended in June, Nxumalo said in a statement.
He would start his new job on January 3.
Nxumalo said Sithole’s appointment had been unanimously accepted by the full eThekwini council sitting earlier on Friday. – Sapa
