Ipswich Win Battle For Fulham Keeper Murphy

Ipswich Town have won the battle for Fulham goalkeeper David Stockdale.

The England squad member was also interesting Leeds United and Swansea City.

The Daily Mail says Ipswich are close to finalising a loan deal for Stockdale, 25, and a £1million deal for Arsenal striker Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, 20.

Stockdale has made 13 appearances for Fulham since joining from Darlington for £600,000 in 2008.
