Top Actors Boycott Sexy Movie Premiere

Yvonne Nelson and Frank Raja (film director)Expectations that the premiere of the controversial movie, ‘Heart of Men’, would be a star-studded one, didn’t live up to its billing as the crème-de-la-crème of the movie’s cast appeared to have boycotted the premiere.

Lead stars Majid Michel, Nadia Buari, Luckie Lawson, John Dumelo, Prince Dave Osei, Eve Asare and Martha Ankomah, did not show up at the event which was largely attended by movie fans.

Rumours indicated that some of the afore-mentioned stars were not pleased with the way and manner the movie was criticized for explicit, near pornographic pictures. Besides it was alleged that before the premiere, some of them were not privileged to see the movie and draw their own conclusions.

They were thus skeptical about what people’s responses would be after seeing the final product. To avoid any unfortunate and unforeseen incident, some of them intentionally boycotted the event.

But Abdul Salam told NEWS-ONE that the allegations were not true. He said Majid, for instance, was sick while Nadia had also traveled. John Demulo and Prince David Osei are currently shooting in Nigeria, NEWSONE gathered.

Nothing was however heard of the whereabouts of Eve Asare and Martha who also played some hot roles in the movie.

Jackie Appiah was at the event but she came in very late when the place was almost empty.

Yvonne Nelson and budding actress Sika, as well producer-turned-actor, Fred Nuamah, were the only known cast who made their presence felt.
