18 Killed In Anambra Auto Crash
Eighteen persons yesterday lost their lives during an auto crash at Nkpor, near Onitsha, in Anambra State.
According to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the accident occurred when a truck lost control and rammed into eight other vehicles on a newly constructed bridge at Nkpor.
The truck was said have torn through the other vehicles killing 18 persons and injuring several others.
At the time of filing this report, there were sketchy details, but the FRSC confirmed that 18 persons might have lost their lives in the ghastly crash, adding that rescue operation was ongoing.
